Come and experience all that a stay at Wendt's Sandbar Resort has to offer in the beautiful North Woods of Wisconsin. Stay in a cabin with your own private beach located on the shoreline of the Townsend Flowage, a fully recreational lake. Enjoy fishing, boating, and swimming right from your cabin. We offer a pontoon rental on FCFS basis. Ice Shanty's are available for rent. We are located on snowmobile/ATV trails with access to miles of recreational trails. Wendt's Sandbar Resort is conveniently located to many area attractions including friendly restaurants, shopping, and the Chequamegon Nicolet National Forest.

Saturday, July 1st - Kids Fishing Tournament Sponsored by the Townsend Flowage Protection District
Saturday, July 29th - 2nd Annual Summer Party and Rib Cookoff - There will also be a Cornhole Tournament starting at 1pm, lots of food at 5pm and Live Music by Paul Hanna from Annex 5-8pm
