Cabins

Wendt's Sandbar Resort has three cabins. Each cabin has a fully furnished kitchen including toaster, microwave oven, coffee maker, and refrigerator. All cooking and eating utensils are included. Linens are provided for beds and pull outs. The only thing you need to bring is your own towels and soaps. Each living room includes a color TV and DVD player. Outside, you'll find your own picnic or patio table, charcoal grill, fire pit and dock.

  • August 24-31 or longer: Loon's Nest
During the summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day), rentals are by the week and run Saturday to Saturday. Nightly rentals require a two-night stay during the winter based on availability.

Loon's Nest

Enjoy the sounds of nature right from your balcony overlooking the beautiful Townsend Flowage. The Loons Nest has two bedrooms, a full-size kitchen, bathroom, and comfortable living room with one full-size bed and one full-size futon. Create memories around your private campfire. Relax in the sun at the private beach just steps away.

The Beachside cabin is conveniently located next to Birch Hills Resort's private sandy beach. This cabin has two bedrooms, a full-size kitchen, bathroom, and a cheery living room with two full-size futons. Enjoy the views of the water from your own deck.
